Terms & Conditions

PayOnTime is a recurring payment collection platform that helps businesses collect authorised payments via debit order.

What We Do

  • We facilitate recurring payments only
  • We do not provide credit, loans, or financing
  • We do not sell or advise on insurance or medical aid

Fees

  • R99 once-off setup fee
  • R49 monthly service fee

These fees are for platform access and payment processing and are not interest or credit charges.

Authorisation

Payments are processed only after the payer has approved a debit order mandate. Once approved, payments run automatically based on the agreed schedule.

Regulation

PayOnTime is not a credit provider, financial services provider, insurer, broker, or medical scheme administrator. Service providers remain responsible for their own regulatory compliance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.

Provider Agreement

This agreement applies to any business ("Provider") using PayOnTime to collect payments.

Role of PayOnTime

PayOnTime acts solely as a payment facilitator, enabling Providers to collect authorised recurring payments from payers.

PayOnTime:

  • Does not provide credit or financing
  • Does not guarantee payment success
  • Is not responsible for the underlying service or contract

Provider Responsibilities

The Provider agrees to:

  • Have a lawful right to collect the payments
  • Obtain payer consent before submitting debit orders
  • Ensure all payment amounts and schedules are accurate
  • Handle disputes directly with payers
  • Remain compliant with all applicable laws and regulators

Fees

  • R99 once-off setup fee
  • R49 monthly service fee, unless otherwise agreed in writing

Liability

PayOnTime is not liable for service delivery disputes, payer dissatisfaction, or regulatory breaches by the Provider.

Termination

PayOnTime may suspend or terminate access if misuse, fraud, or unlawful activity is suspected.

Debit Order Consent

By approving this mandate, you authorise PayOnTime to process recurring debit order payments on behalf of the service provider according to the agreed amount, frequency, and start date.

You acknowledge that:

  • Payments will be processed automatically once approved
  • PayOnTime acts only as a payment facilitator
  • PayOnTime does not provide credit or financing
  • Any disputes relating to the service must be resolved directly with the service provider
  • This mandate remains in effect until cancelled in accordance with the agreed notice period
